Happy 1-year baptism anniversary Jasmin - we love you!!! :)
A good portion of my life has been spent playing the piano for everyone else's diva moments. Now it's my turn. I invite you to accompany ME through my life's diva and, well, not so diva-like moments. It'll be entertaining. Promise.

Mama's New Toy
So, I turned 35 last week and felt like a little kid again for 2 reasons...
1. Kaylee was so excited for weeks on end leading up to it. It's nice that your kids get excited about your birthdays, cause the older I get the less excited I get.
2. I got a kid present! It was a total suprise. The best part about it is the very cool baby seat in the front. My little guy and I have been out several times already and I LOVE IT!!

Trip to San Antonio
Last week we took a mini-vacation to San Antonio. Shawn had a judging gig and we decided to take advantage of it since they were paying two nights hotel and food/gas per diem. It wasn't really a family trip cause he was working, but I had fun with the kids, we got to go to the temple, and it was a nice get-a-way from the hum-drum routine. Kaylee really got into the hotel...this was the first time we've seen her this excited about sleeping in a hotel room.
These are the world's largest cowboy boots. They are outside of a mall right across the freeway from our hotel. You can see how tiny Kaylee looks in the bottom right-hand corner.
Kaylee on the Harley...thought you'd appreciate this one Josh.

Kaylee's Baptism Day
How do you put into words how you feel when your daughter is baptized? I don't know. There are no words for that feeling. Suffice it to say, watching her enter into the waters of baptism was unlike anything I've experienced before. I feel so blessed to be her mom.

It was a special, sacred day.
I'm glad you chose to be baptized Kay!
