A good portion of my life has been spent playing the piano for everyone else's diva moments. Now it's my turn. I invite you to accompany ME through my life's diva and, well, not so diva-like moments. It'll be entertaining. Promise.

Kaylee's Fall Activities

Kay rocked it out as one of the "Rockin Robins" for tribute to the oldies.  :)

My beauty on her first day of 5th grade!

Ready to work!

Kaylee was asked to help with the announcements all year for her school.  She went to the library first thing every morning and sat with Ms. Dellinger (the assistant principal) to read off the menu and any birthdays.

Here's Kaylee receiving an "All-Star of the Day" award at school.

This is a bad quality picture, but it was so cute - Kay got a certificate to make her own mini-pizza from Papa Murphy's for getting straight A's.  She had a good time doing that and then shared the pizza with Aaron and Bekah.  :)

My little poser.  :)

Thanksgiving art project Kaylee made in her class.  We each put in what we're thankful for and read it at Thanksgiving dinner.

One of my fav pics of my girls.  Hanging out at Aaron's soccer game.

Such a good big sis.  :)

Here are a couple of Kay's performances in December...the first was the Christmas dance her class did at the Christmas recital, and the second is at her school talent show.  She sang Dynamite.

Aaron's Fall 2012

Aaron began Preschool this fall at Ms. Diane's Building Blocks Preschool.  Here he is on his first day.

 First day arriving at school.

In October, his class took a field trip to the pumpkin patch.

His arts and crafts teacher, Ms. Misti.

His Preschool teacher, Ms. Diane.

Playtime on the last day before Christmas break.

Christmas program.
We absolutely LOVED Miss Diane and her fabulous preschool.  My favorite memory is on the very first day...Aaron was so excited when we got there he ran right into the classroom and yelled, "I'm here!"  Classic Aaron.  :)

Aaron participated in his first season of soccer this fall!  His team was the Stingrays.  Here he is before his first game.

Waiting for the game to start with his teammates.

Team huddle.

Watch him in action!

Last game.

With his best soccer bud, Santiago.

More action.

Aaron had a great time in soccer.  It will start back up again in the spring.  We're excited for another great season!

Halloween 2012

Halloween 2012 was great fun.  We had some very, very cute trick-or-treaters.  :)

Introducing:  Kaylee Smith as Lucille Ball

Rebekah Smith as Little Red Riding Hood

Aaron Smith as Batman

Joey Harman as a Firefighter

Joey and his mom, Cyndi, came to treak-or-treat with us this year and we loved having them with us.  We had a few other friends with us a couple of days before Halloween - Joseph and Jocelyn - two friends from church who helped us carve pumpkins.  :) They did a great job!

Here are a few videos of the trick-or-treating:

I Have a Double Digit Girl!!

Kaylee turned 10 and I feel old.

We were going to celebrate at Peter Piper, but their credit card machine was down so we went to Chuck-e-Cheese instead.
Yummy cheesecake by request.  (Thank you HEB :)
Like her Grandpa Wadley said, next year she'll have to use her toes to count!
Baby girl had a good time.
 The whole fam.
The cool bike thing that I wish I was young enough to still ride.
Shawn did something really special for Kaylee's birthday.  He brought home flowers for her AND me.  He gave me a card saying happy 10-year anniversary for being a mom.  It was the sweetest thing in the whole world and made me cry.  Then he gave us a gift card for a girls night out so we went and got pedi's a few weeks later.  What an awesome guy!
I love my little Kay so very much.  She is such a HUGE help with the other two, and is always so thoughtful towards me.  Not to mention being so talented, smart, beautiful, etc.  :)  I lucked out BIGTIME!!

Happy Birthday KAYLEE!!

My Girls

I love my girls.  :)

Kaylee loves her sister.  She made a pile of toys for her to play with.
Girls night out at Wilson, 2012
 Before our red carpet debut.
She'll always be my star.  :)
Kaylee's first (and maybe only??) track run.  She wanted to do it because it was held at Dad's University.  She thought that was way cool.  Although it seemed like she enjoyed it, she says no when I ask if she wants to do another one.  The two teachers in the back are Mr. Ayala, a kindergarten teacher who does the running club at her school and Ms. Lightsey, who is just super-athletic and helps with Kaylee's DI (Destination Imagination) team at school.  Kaylee is involved a lot at school this year.  Student Council Rep, Running Club, and DI.  She has one of those every day after school!  She loves it.
Another mid-year honor assembly.  Once again, all A's.  Am I surprised?  Not really.  :)

Kaylee taught Bekah a new trick!
 Beauty!
