A good portion of my life has been spent playing the piano for everyone else's diva moments. Now it's my turn. I invite you to accompany ME through my life's diva and, well, not so diva-like moments. It'll be entertaining. Promise.

One way to get new clothes...
I was having a great day today...
until
this
Following this piece of sound advice will save you the money you will now spend on new (used) clothes which is needed to put towards your Texas (yes-why-don't-we-secede-so-the-taxes-and-utilites-can-go-up-even-more) utilities/taxes.
That is all.
(Guilt aside however, I do look a teensy bit forward to the shopping trip... ;)

The Birthday Girl
Well, time just keeps on a marchin...
I am now the mother of an eight-year-old, soon to be member of the Church, Wednesday night Activity Day goer, makeup lover, adorable little girl. I just started to delete "little girl" and replace it with "young woman", but no, that will need to wait for a few more years. She is still my little girl, and such a delight. She is the most kind, helpful daughter and wonderful big sister. She LOVES to interact with her little brother, and is such a great playmate for him in spite of the 6 years age difference. I love having her as part of our family.
Last Thursday began with Hello Kitty Banana Waffles...mmmm...

Kaylee sings the National Anthem
Last fall Mr. O, Kaylee's music teacher at school asked her if she wanted to sing the National Anthem at an Ice Ray's game...the town's professional hockey team. Well, last night was the big night and she did AWESOME!!! See for yourself! (Thanks Josh for taking the video :)
We are so proud Kay!

Achievement Days and Girls Night Out
Kaylee went to her first Achievement Activity Day this past Wednesday. I can't believe she is old enough! She raced into the church after giving me a kiss and wave and I got all teary-eyed watching her run in...the start of 10 years of Wednesday night church activities...so fun! She turns 8 on the 25th, but Sis. Diaz asked if she could come earlier and help with some invitations they were making. So, off she went!
